On technical side of things, the shots of the indoor scenes in the apartment are tastefully done and cinematography by Richard M Nathan captures the outdoor visuals equally beautifully. "Oh Penne" and "Ailesa" stand out from the rest and translate beautifully on screen. The chemistry between the leads is built up well.Īnirudh's music tracks are another advantage for the film as all the songs are well-composed and placed. Priya Anand looks stunning as the modern educated heroine. Meanwhile, Shiva strikes a good balance between comedy and romance without overplaying his role. The latter actor gives the film a much-needed boost with his slapstick antics. He is assisted by none other than the current comedy king Santhanam in the second half. Shiva, who is used to giving a no-nonsense attitude with a poker face in his films manages to perform beyond that in this film. The two soon start falling for each other until Anjali's fiance show up. With no options left, they decide to move in together until they find Narayanan. Coincidentally, the two of them rent the same apartment, and soon finds out that they were cheated by the landlord, Narayanan (Santhanam). Anjali (Priya Anand) also comes to Chennai from London to capture some photos for a competition.
